How I started drinking tea..
Let's start from the beginning. The usual tehs and teh-os from coffee shops don't count :p
Well, I will start from ice lemon teas. I used to think it tastes weird. That was way back when I was in secondary 1. But everyone was drinking it, so i thought I'd try it. I didn't like it at first, it was kinda bitter. But for some reason I grew to like it, and then it sorta became a staple. Subsequently I felt I was drinking too much sugar at the same time, and so I looked for an alternative.
Pokka's green tea became an alternative then, and it was very refreshing. I loved it, other brands were good too. But again, SUGAR. I'm not sure why, but when i started drinking green tea I became quite sensitive to sugar. Sensitive not in the sense that I would break out in a rash or whatever, but in the sense that it started to taste tooooo sweet.
Then I tried dilmah's tea bags, plain. Initially I was like urrghhh - with the face and all - but I started to appreciate it, and its taste. After a while I could taste the subtle taste of jasmine in the tea and it was really nice.
Then I was introduced to the loose leaf variety and I loved that one as you could vary the taste of the tea.
So, initially I drank tea for no real reason, subsequently I drank tea as it was a healthy and yummy beverage, and now I just drink tea because I do.
Oh, I just drank jasmine tea cos I needed to poop oops hehehehe yes I ate too much and tea always helps me in that area :p

I like to drink tea...
But I like my sugar.
Me likes sugar rush.....
Why do i drink tea?
I use to think tea has less caffeine than coffee. but boy I was so wrong.. look what it did to me!! =P
Anyways, tea all tastes the same to me once you add the milk.. and I like mine with milk =P
But I like the different nuances for the various teas as well... but those are for times when i have more errr time...
the normal sugary brown swill I slurp is my staple for the working day.
I like pao pao char too! I LOVE HAPPY TEA!!
It makes me happy!
I also use to drink bittergourd tea. My sis says it makes me look radiant. Which means I look shiny and all I guess. But I later had to stop it as .. guess what, bitter gourd is concentrated in vitamin K. Which is good for most individuals. As it means your blood clots betta! Bitter gourd tea tastes really bad the first time, but once you are used to it, you can challege all your friends a'la fear factor and show 'em all you have a mean taste for all things gross!!!
Yah I like tea.
hahaha...I hate sugar in my tea and coffee. I cannot stand drinking those commercialised stuff anymore. Everytime I drink then, I feel like my teeth is going to decay anytime.
*thumbs up* for tea/ coffee appreciation!
my dad loves the pokka green tea. i have to say i hooked on to caffeine only in jc. and it was mainly coffee initially. it wasnt till i went to england that my craze for tea started. and the best way to drink tea is drinking it plain, then you can appreciate the full flavours.
hehe
I like all teas...
except McDonald's.... its awfully thin...
I tried the coffee at mcdonalds.... A friend of mine, Carrie, said it was swill. I thought she was a little harsh. Now I think it is a tad too kind lol.
I first got addicted to coffee in JC too... but I cannot stomach more than 3 in a day, I get a stomach flu otherwise, I think its the stomach acid eating my stomach lining thing.
